State of Iowa's Iowa DOT seeks a Highway Technician Associate in Perry. You will perform roadside maintenance, patch roadways, repair guardrails and signs, manage lighting and culverts, and assist with traffic control during upkeep.
Qualifications include a CDL permit, Class A endorsements within 5 months, and pre-employment physical and drug testing. Work hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with on-call duties and occasional overnight travel. Residency within 45 minutes of Perry is required.

Perry Maintenance Garage - Within five (5) months, employees are required to reside within 45 minutes driving time, during normal conditions, from the assigned work location.
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary, and the position is subject to be on call 24 hours a day during emergencies and/or weather conditions. Some overnight travel may be required.
