The State of Iowa DOT is seeking a Highway Technician Associate to work primarily outdoors on roadways in Avoca. Responsibilities include patching roadways, maintaining guardrails, signs, fences, and waterways, and assisting with traffic control during maintenance activities.

Entry-level driver Training is available upon hire through the Iowa DOT. The multifaceted training will help meet all state and federal regulations.
