ACME BARRICADES is seeking a Highway Sign Installer to join our field team, responsible for preparing, installing and maintaining roadway signs and pavement markings under federal, state and local guidelines, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

The role requires reading plans, operating power tools, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional night shifts. A valid driver’s license and MOT Advanced certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years highway sign installation or related industry experience.
• MOT Advanced certification.
• Able to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR and substance tests.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to/from installation sites.
• Cut materials to specified sizes using power tools.
• Assemble and install signs adjacent to high-volume roadways using pneumatic tools and equipment.
• Drive a vehicle safely.
• Set up traffic control when required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
