Missouri Department of Transportation in Jefferson City is seeking a highway safety intern to provide engineering support, review traffic data, and recommend corrective actions to enhance traffic flow and safety. The intern works under moderate supervision and will support reporting and project activities.
The position is wage-based and non-benefits eligible, with typical hours Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Why you’ll love this position: The highway safety intern provides engineering support to individual units within the Highway Safety and Traffic Division by reviewing and analyzing traffic data to identify concerns and recommend corrective action in order to make improvements in traffic flow, congestion, and safety. Responsibilities are performed under moderate supervision.
This position will be filled at a rate contingent with previous relevant intern experience.
