Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years estimating/project management experience in highway construction.
• Acumen for highway materials and construction specifications.
• Willingness to travel for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals and determine scope for bids.
• Prepare and submit bid/estimate proposals to clients.
• Provide project management for awarded contracts.
• Monitor subcontractors work and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

Knowledge of hot mix asphalt and/or chip seal

Ability to build relationships

Understanding of safety regulatory compliance

Education

BS Degree or Equivalent in related construction background

Tools

Microsoft Office

HCSS bidding experience
