Seasonal Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) - No CDL Required, PNs: 20057206, 20074712, 20073967

Location:

ODOT District 12 - Geauga County - Middlefield - 3 positions available.

What You Will Do:

• Serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
• Perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing.
• This is a seasonal position limited to 1,000 hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary, or the equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above. In accordance with Section 124.11(B)(2) of Revised Code, the Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be an unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination. Note: If involved in driving motorized snow & ice control equipment, a valid commercial driver’s license is required.
