Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License at the time of appointment.
• CDL Class B license with tanker and air brake endorsements.
• CDL Class A license with tanker and air brake endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operates KDOT equipment including trucks, mowers, loaders.
• Performs manual highway maintenance tasks such as erecting signs, fencing, painting, patching, and litter pickup.
• Receives training in equipment operation and highway repair methods.
• Performs related work and may assist in snow and ice control operations.
• May work additional hours including nights and weekends as needed.
