Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking full-time Highway Maintenance Technicians to perform maintenance on IH35 in the Austin area. Responsibilities include debris removal, sign and guardrail repair, concrete work, and operating heavy equipment in various weather conditions.

Candidates should have 0-2 years of construction labor experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a clean driving record. CDL-A is a plus; a criminal background check will be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background checks (criminal, driving, substances) will be conducted.
• Knowledge of local driving rules and ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance operations on IH35 in the Austin, TX area.
• Debris removal, sign and guardrail repair, and concrete repair.
• Operate equipment (wheel loader, skidsteer, forklift, asphalt roller) as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and follow company policies.
