Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-timeHighway Maintenance Supervisorto perform and oversee highway maintenance operations in the Houston, TX area. The position is based in Porter, TX and is responsible for maintenance work program and scheduling, and highway maintenance and construction activities.This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance, including but not limited to the supervision of crews performing debris removal, guardrail repair, maintenance of traffic, and other activities. Adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen company policies and procedures is required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of highway construction maintenanceindustry related experience
• Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Earth Strong
• Leadership qualities; must have experience in overseeing, directing and leading construction crews.
• Strong organizational skills fortimesheetsand inventory tracking, scheduling & work planning as well as oversight of maintenance crews to ensure work execution/completion
• Roadway or guardrail maintenance experience
• Concrete forming/repair experience
• Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, ForkLift, Asphalt Roller, etc operator

Preferred Experience

• Experience with projects using TxDOT standard specifications
• Roadway or construction maintenance experience
• MOT Certifications (traffic control)

Additional Requirements

• Clean driving record is essential
• Must pass criminal background check
• CDL License a plus

Qualifications

• Construction management experience/education a plus
• High School Diploma/GED
• Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Carry out simple arithmetic functions
