Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is seeking a Highway Electrician Helper to perform highway electrical maintenance and lighting repair in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, based in Joshua, TX.

The role requires responding to outages, installing and repairing wiring and lighting, and complying with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has highway lighting experience, a valid CDL, and a Journeyman license or willingness to obtain one within a year, with the ability to climb, lift up to 50

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of highway lighting electrical experience.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with air brakes endorsement required.
• Journeyman Electrician License or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
• MOT certifications within scope of highway maintenance desired.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Participates in electrical maintenance and repair of roadway lighting and facilities.
• Installs, maintains and repairs wiring, circuits, relays, lighting, motors and related equipment.
• Troubleshoots roadway outages and performs routine maintenance on electrical components.
• Maintains street, navigational and traffic signal lighting; documents hours and logs.
