Diamond Surface, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our highway grinder. Safely and efficiently operate the grinder to meet production, quality, and safety expectations while representing the company at job sites across the United States.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, the ability to travel extensively, and a mindset for teamwork and safety. We offer comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and life insurance, ESOP, 401(k), and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery (excavators, backhoes, loaders, etc.).
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Ability to maintain DOT-compliant ELogs.
• Problem-solving skills in dynamic construction environments.
• Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Operate the highway grinder safely and efficiently.
• Transport Highway Grinder using a Class A CDL.
• Maintain logs and documentation.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs.
• Communicate effectively with team and manage field operations.
• Travel extensively across the United States.
• Support yard days and other company tasks as needed.
