Summary:

Join the Kapur Team as a Transportation Highway Engineer in our Indiana Office and be an integral part of growing Transportation design services. We are seeking someone who is highly motivated, collaborative, proactive, and delivers quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform design calculations, geometric design, modeling and plan production of roadway, traffic control staging plans, signing, pavement marking, erosion control, quantities, Engineer’s estimates, and contract specifications.
• Complete various tasks on transportation design projects and able to work with various project teams on transportation design projects.
• Prepare project reports and technical memorandums.
• Present and discuss project concept/plans with the client and public.
• Perform quality control reviews.
• Be part of business development pursuit, building client relationships.
• Help grow our transportation group.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of leading transportation project tasks.
• Familiarity with INDOT design preferred.
• Experience in Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads, Autodesk Civil 3D products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable in transportation engineering design of urban, rural and freeways.
