Ideal candidates have 6+ years in roadway engineering, 2+ years in PM, and an Indiana PE license (or ability to obtain within six months). Strong knowledge of INDOT processes is essential and AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is desired.

We are representing an established engineering consultancy in the search for a Roadway Project Manager to join its transportation team in Indianapolis.

This is an opportunity for an experienced roadway engineer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of state and locally funded transportation projects throughout Indiana, working directly with project teams, clients and technical disciplines.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of roadway engineering experience, at least 2 years of project management experience, and an Indiana PE license or the ability to obtain one within six months. Strong knowledge of the INDOT and Federal Aid design process is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Indiana PE license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months.

• Experience delivering state and/or locally funded roadway projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience reviewing roadway plans and design calculations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Previous experience mentoring junior engineers or CAD designers preferred.
