Responsibilities

• Monitor operations for contractor compliance with plans, terms and specs.
• Coordinate construction inspection phases with contractor, DOT, and agencies.
• Review contractor's operation plans and MOT plans.
• Advise on violations and corrective measures.
• Identify changes to construction plans for field conditions.
• Take field measurements of pay items and perform materials testing.
• Observe contractor's equipment and maintain project records.
• Pursue VDOT inspection and materials testing certifications (reimbursed).
