Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer for a major highway project in Western North Carolina. You will support the administration, QA/QC, and client relationships while supervising staff.

This role requires an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field, 4+ years CM/CI experience, and the ability to work with multiple agencies; TN visa classification may be available for qualified candidates.

Formación

• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SAP, HiCAMS, SharePoint/SharePlus.
• Must pass JMT Motor Vehicle Screening.

Responsabilidades

• Manage administration of NCDOT central let contracts.
• Oversee QA/QC in the assigned region.
• Maintain and build client relationships.
• Hire, train, and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Supervise construction work and establish engineering controls for contractor.
• Collaborate with NCDOT Departments, the public and local officials.
