Job summary

Maine Department of Transportation in Poland, ME is seeking a supervisory maintenance worker to lead a crew performing highway, bridge, and heavy equipment maintenance and repair. You will plan, assign, and inspect projects, keep administrative records, and prepare budgets and reports under limited supervision.

The position requires a four-year mix of training, experience, and education in maintenance and at least one year of lead worker experience, plus licensing and safety certifications as

Qualifications

• A four (4) year combination of training, experience, and education in highway, bridge, and equipment repair and maintenance and/or construction.
• At least one (1) year of lead worker experience.
• Valid Class C license with ability to obtain Class A within probation and completion of the 30 hour OSHA Safety course in construction (20 CFR Part 1926).

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise, and inspect a variety of maintenance projects.
• Keep administrative records and develop budgets and reports.
