Job summary

Kendall Hunt Publishing Company is seeking a driven Publishing Sales Representative to join our Higher Education sales team in Dubuque, Iowa. You’ll manage a pipeline, connect with professors by phone/Zoom/email, and move opportunities toward textbook adoptions.

You will own the sales process, learn our products, and build relationships that drive growth. This role includes training, a strong support system, and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in inside sales or direct-to-professor sales is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of Higher Education products to increase adoptions.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop title-specific sales plans.
• Incentivize book sales through the Kendall Hunt website, especially eBooks.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with faculty.
• Attend conventions or national sales meetings to support backlist titles.
• Meet with authors to understand new editions' progress.
