Job summary

RFCUNY invites applications for a Recruitment Specialist at LaGuardia Community College. The role coordinating recruitment operations includes managing the CRM, information sessions, and outreach to prospective students and community partners.

You will help with retention initiatives and collaborate with admissions and advising teams to ensure a smooth transition into degree programs. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in admissions or recruitment; a Master's degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in university admissions, student affairs, or recruitment.
• Master's degree preferred for advancement.
• Experience supervising and coordinating program operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment operations with a CRM and internal systems.
• Schedule and conduct in-person and virtual information sessions.
• Attend recruitment events and build awareness with community partners.
• Develop partnerships with campus offices to facilitate referrals and transitions.
• Maintain tracking of student data to inform retention strategies.
• Establish alumni-driven student ambassador program.
• Assist with student registration in CUNYfirst and coordinate enrollment targets.
• Represent the program at public events and community outreach.
