SaltWorks MFG – Mechanic / Assembly Craftsman
What This Role Actually Is

You are responsible for full mechanical assembly from a bare chassis to a finished vehicle. Every system. No shortcuts. No guessing.

  • Complete vehicle assembly (suspension, drive train, plumbing, wiring integration)
  • Fit and install components with serviceability in mind
  • Work alongside fabrication, surface, trim, and engineering—no silos
  • Diagnose, correct, and improve—not just install
  • Final assembly mindset: everything you touch is visible, functional, and permanent
What We Expect
  • You understand how a full vehicle system works—not just your task
  • You can read the build before you start the build
  • You think in systems layout, access, and long-term service
  • You don’t move forward until the previous step is right
  • You take ownership—mistakes, wins, all of it
  • If you need constant direction, this isn’t the place.
What You Need to Bring

Strong mechanical background (hot rods, customs, restorations, or high‑end builds)

  • Full chassis assembly
  • Plumbing (fuel, brake, cooling)
  • Electrical integration (not just plug‑and‑play)
  • Final assembly fit and finish
  • Ability to problem‑solve in real time
  • Clean, organized work habits

Bonus if you understand:

  • LS/LT/Coyote/Godzilla/Hemi platforms, aftermarket systems
  • High‑end components and integration (not OEM‑only mindset)
How We Work

Every day starts with a plan

Every task has a clear outcome before it begins

Every department depends on you doing it right

What You Get
  • Work on some of the highest‑end custom builds in the country
  • Be part of a team that actually gives a damn
  • No shortcuts, no hacks, no “good enough”
  • A shop where quality is the baseline, not the goal
Who This Is For
  • Craftsmen who want to be the best at what they do
  • People who take pride in invisible details
  • Builders who understand that form follows function
Who This Is NOT For
  • Clock punchers
  • Parts changers
  • “That’ll work” mentality

If this sounds like you, apply. If it doesn’t, don’t waste your time—or ours.
