Job summary

Parker Hospitality is hiring a friendly Server for The Hampton Social in Virginia Beach, VA. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service in a high-volume venue and sharing our menu knowledge with enthusiasm.

You will process orders with accuracy, maintain a polished dining room, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere while earning via service charges, tips, and commissions. Applicants must be at least 21, proficient in English, and able to lift and stand for long

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous server experience in a high volume setting preferred.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to interact with coworkers and guests in a friendly and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehensive working knowledge of all food and beverage offerings on the menu.
• Answer guest questions and provide informed, enthusiastic recommendations.
• Follow all Parker Hospitality processes for exceptional customer service.
• Repeat and accurately enter all orders into the point of sale system.
• Follow all side work procedures and checklists as designated by the company.
• Maintain attentive and proper table maintenance throughout service.
• Process all payments promptly and accurately.
• Adhere to all company health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate openly and professionally with all team members and management.
• Accept direction and constructive feedback from management.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout every shift.
