Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring immediately for full-time Cook positions at Wellesley Public Schools, located at 40 Kingsbury Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. The 6:00 am–2:00 pm schedule runs on school days, with details provided at interview. 1–3 years of high-volume cooking experience and a ServSafe certification are required.

Perks include weekends, holidays, school vacations, and summers off, plus great benefits. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour with internal referral bonus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portions and temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in ordering, receiving, and inventory as required.
• Reports maintenance needs to supervisor immediately.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety policies.
