Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Cook for a temporary three-month assignment in Anderson, TX. You will handle food preparation, setup, and operate a station in an open kitchen, following leadership’s recipes and guidelines to boost morale and productivity.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in food service, high-volume experience, and strong professionalism with excellent written and verbal communication. Must be flexible for shifts, overtime, and possible travel to Starbase, TX as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the food service industry.
• High level of professionalism and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily prep tasks.
• Ensure consistency and compliance with the restaurant’s recipes regarding portioning, cooking, and waste control guidelines.
• Provide courteous and informative customer service in an "open kitchen" format.
• Follow restaurant guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance, and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
