Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one year of high-volume bar service experience
• Strong knowledge of drink preparation and health standards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to operate bar-related equipment including coffee makers and cash terminals
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
• Capacity to stand and lift up to 75 lbs
• Flexible schedules based on hotel business needs

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages for guests and servers quickly and cheerfully
• Follow recipes using established measuring systems for consistency
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local alcohol laws
• Act as cashier for servers and handle transactions accurately
• Set up the bar, garnish preparation, and maintain cleanliness
• Restock bar supplies and manage inventory
• Balance shift reports and secure cash at end of shift
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service
