Job summary

OTH Hotels Resorts is seeking a skilled Bartender at our Doubletree Pikesville property to deliver exceptional beverage and food service in a fast-paced bar and dining area.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of bartending experience, a passion for hospitality, and a strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. This on-site role requires excellent multitasking, inventory control, and customer service in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of bartending experience; full-service bar experience preferred.
• Certifications: Alcohol service certification preferred or required per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly at the bar or restaurant.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Provide table-side or bar service including food and beverage delivery.
• Engage with guests to ensure a welcoming, high-quality experience.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and cocktail recipes.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Stay informed on drink trends and menu offerings.
• Maintain consistency and quality in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
