Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field from an accredited program.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting project schedules, with hands-on use of Oracle Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Comfort working with schedules, data, and multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transmission projects from planning through construction and closeout.
• Manage project schedules in coordination with the scheduler using Primavera P6 and oversee permitting, cost estimating, engineering design, procurement, and contractor management.
• Lead recurring design and construction progress meetings to keep teams aligned and on track.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Create and manage bid packages, evaluate contractor bids, and recommend selections to clients.
• Build strong relationships with project and construction teams through regular communication and site visits.
• Manage external vendors and contractors to meet client deadlines.
• Develop execution plans and supporting documentation for project authorization and funding.
• Provide regular updates to the PM Supervisor and client on schedule, cost, risks, and issues.
• Travel within the client’s service territory as needed, typically about 10%.
