Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with traction power and catenary systems.
• Experience with high-voltage systems and equipment maintenance.
• Equivalent education/experience; additional education not substituted.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair overhead catenary systems and traction substations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AC/DC rail systems.
• Work at heights using ladders and bucket trucks.
• Maintain logs, inventory, and safety records.
• Assist in training junior technicians.
• Respond to routine and emergency work orders.
• Operate specialty vehicles and equipment in field operations.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulatory requirements.
