Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Lineman program or 4+ years of documented experience with 1kV+ systems.
• Proficiency in electrical theory, mathematics, and the interpretation of technical schematics and blueprints.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and ability to obtain necessary site access credentials.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and relevant safety codes for high voltage environments.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy manual labor and operate in challenging outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs and maintenance on overhead and underground high voltage distribution systems to ensure maximum uptime.
• Operate specialized heavy machinery, including bucket and line trucks, to perform aerial and ground-level electrical work.
• Conduct rigorous testing and diagnostic analysis on transformers, circuit interrupters, and voltage regulators to verify system integrity.
• Manage project planning, material estimation, and site coordination to deliver high-quality infrastructure improvements.
• Implement strict safety protocols, including LOTO procedures and hazard mitigation, to protect personnel and equipment.
• Document system performance and maintenance activities to maintain accurate records and compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance to support staff during complex installations and emergency response operations.
