Job summary

Kinder Morgan SACROC Power Team is seeking a Powerline Technician in Snyder, Texas, with a level 1–5 hiring range based on experience to join our line crew for the 15 kV distribution system and higher voltage facilities. The role covers overhead and underground work, routine maintenance, and outage support.

You will install and repair distribution components, perform troubleshooting, and participate in preventive maintenance while adapting to long hours and nighttime outages as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state of Texas Class A Commercial driver's license with air brake endorsements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks, walk/stand for long periods, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Installs transformers, cutouts, lightning arresters, crossarms, insulators, switches, and conductors overhead or underground.
• Maintain and repair power distribution system components.
• Perform routine troubleshooting activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on overhead equipment.
• Implement improvements and modifications as assigned.
• Coordinate outage-related work as needed.
