Job summary
Transmission & Distribution World seeks a Master Electrician in Augusta, ME to lead installation, maintenance and repair of high voltage electrical systems (12,750 volts) under supervision. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, ensuring safety, and coordinating skilled electricians and helpers.
Qualified candidates hold a Master Electrician's license, knowledge of electrical codes, and experience with HV systems.
Qualifications
- Master Electrician license required.
- Knowledge of State/National Electrical Code.
- Experience with High Voltage (HV) systems and safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist with HV/low-voltage system designs, installation, maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Install, alter, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, motors, generators, and related equipment.
- Repair refrigeration units and other electrical appliances as needed.
- Install and maintain intercoms, controls, signals, and other electrical apparatus.
- Plan and lay out electrical jobs to estimate materials and time.
