Qualifications

• Must be a qualified journeyman electrician registered with the State of New Jersey or have completed a US DOL-approved apprenticeship (3+ years).
• Must maintain journeyman certification.
• A valid driver’s license with two years driving experience is necessary.
• Rutgers Defensive Driving Course must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Estimate work and procure appropriate materials for self or group.
• May perform any duties of the group or other trades as needed.
• Work independently on campus reporting to a supervisor and guiding Electrician/Maintenance staff.
