Job summary

University of California, Riverside's Facilities Services is seeking a High Voltage Electrician to perform journeylevel work on medium and high voltage electrical distribution systems up to 12.47 kV across campus and substation sites.

The role requires completion of a certified apprenticeship and at least four years of journey-level HV experience, with NFPA 70E/70B knowledge and safety training. On-site duties may include after-hours work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of journey-level experience as a skilled high voltage electrician.
• Completion of a certified apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, service, installation and troubleshooting on medium/high voltage distribution systems up to 12.47 kV.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, tests and maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety in work practices.
