Job summary

Jupiter Power LLC is seeking a Renewable Energy Technician for a battery site in the Fort Stockton, Texas area. The role involves maintenance and operation of substations, transmission, and BESS systems, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will troubleshoot protections, read schematics, and coordinate with contractors and landowners to ensure smooth operations and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Requires strong problem-solving abilities in high voltage electrical systems.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and maintenance of substations, transmission, and battery storage systems.
• Provide troubleshooting and resolution for protections and control equipment and relay schemes.
• Coordinate emergency response and repair to high voltage equipment and BESS systems.
• Interface with contractors, suppliers, and landowners; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Operate safely and maintain high voltage inventory and tools.
