Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Rahway, NJ is seeking a full-time Lab Technician to support high-throughput process development in a GMP environment. The role focuses on automating assays using TECAN and Hamilton systems, with coding/scripting as part of the workflow.

Responsibilities include performing cell culture and analytical testing, preparing reagents, data reporting to clients, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Bio/chemical Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year lab experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.
• Automation experience with TECAN and Hamilton systems; coding/scripting.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Execute high throughput process development experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 agents and viruses.
• Operate and maintain laboratory automation equipment (Tecan, Hamilton) to support HTPD screening experiments.

• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions and culture media
• Analyze, collate, track, and report data back to client staff members
• Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Work independently and efficiently

Job Description

Automation experience with TECAN and Hamilton systems, including with coding/scripting is a core requirement of this role.

• Execute high throughput process development (HTPD) experiments with BSL-1 and BSL-2 biological agents and viruses.
• Operate and maintain laboratory automation equipment (Tecan, Hamilton) to support HTPD screening experiments.
• Perform analytical testing, including cell-based assays, biochemical testing, and/or HPLC to support HTPD experiments, and participate in development of new assays as needed.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions and culture media
• Analyze, collate, track, and report data back to client staff members
• Maintain records and test results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Work independently and efficiently
• Document work clearly and perform tests accurately
• Communicate with client staff members

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completed bachelors in Bio/chemical Engineering, or related engineering concentration
• One year of general lab experience with mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays and aseptic technique
• Automation experience with TECAN and Hamilton systems, including with coding/scripting
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rahway, NJ are encouraged to apply. Compensation is between $30-31/hr
