Job summary

TK Cups, a division of Arch Promo Group, is seeking a Machine Operator to run high-speed web-fed presses, perform setup and routine maintenance, and ensure production meets specs for varied substrates. The role emphasizes precise tension, ink control, and proactive defect prevention in a fast-paced environment.

The operator will read job tickets, mix inks and coatings, and monitor quality while minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and basic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned web press to meet specs and customer requirements.
• Load substrate, thread web, and adjust tension across press path.
• Mix inks/coatings and prepare materials for each job.
• Dial in registration and color targets to bring press into spec.
• Monitor production and adjust parameters to maintain quality and throughput.
• Inspect in-process print quality and stop the press if issues arise.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
• Document setups, production counts, scrap, downtime, and quality events.
