Job summary

Inlighten Technologies, a Silicon Valley startup, seeks a Leading Developer for High-Speed microLED Arrays to bridge III-V optoelectronics with high‑bandwidth optical interconnects. You will design, optimize, and characterize microLED arrays for multi‑terabit applications and drive integration with CMOS backplanes.

You will lead RF testing, epitaxy optimization, and device modeling, collaborate with process, metrology, and IC teams, and help secure IP while advancing a technology that could

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in physics, electrical engineering or related field with optoelectronics focus.
• Expertise in III‑V semiconductor optoelectronics (InGaN/InGaAsP/InGaAlP).
• Proven track record in high‑speed datacom/telecom tech with direct‑modulation transmitters.
• Experience with advanced packaging and integration techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, layout, and process integration of high‑density microLED arrays for GHz modulation.
• Optimize epitaxy and device physics to maximize current density and minimize RC parasitics.
• Drive high‑frequency characterization with RF testing, eye‑diagram analysis, and BER.
• Co-design CMOS/driver interfaces ensuring impedance matching with backplanes.
• Build data‑driven performance models using carrier transport and optical simulations.
• Protect IP and drive the technology roadmap for high‑speed microLEDs.
