Job summary

Adecco Staffing is seeking Mail Production Operators in Portland, ME for a temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay.

2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM; 3rd Shift: Mon–Thu, 6:00 PM–4:30 AM. Pay: $21–$23/hour.

You will operate high-speed printing and mail-inserting equipment, load materials, monitor performance, clear minor jams, complete production logs, and prepare mail for shipment.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Printing, mailing or equipment operation experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic computer, data entry and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed printing and mail-inserting equipment.
• Set up machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
• Load paper, envelopes and other materials into equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and production output.
• Clear minor jams and assist with basic machine troubleshooting.
• Complete production logs and required paperwork.
• Sort, package and hand-finish materials as needed.
• Prepare completed mail for shipment.
