Accelera in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an Industrial Machinery Maintenance Specialist responsible for high-speed production lines, focusing on automation and mechanical systems to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molding, extrusion, and automated packaging, diagnose faults with PLCs, document activity in CMMS, and mentor junior staff while upholding safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
Advanced troubleshooting proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Proven ability to interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Demonstrated experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation hardware.
Strong commitment to workplace safety standards and food quality regulations.

Responsibilities

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molding, extrusion, and automated packaging systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults using diagnostic tools and PLC interfaces.
Optimize machine performance by identifying improvement opportunities and assisting in equipment installations.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and equipment health within the CMMS.
Foster safety by adhering to LOTO, GMP, and PPE protocols during repairs.
Collaborate with production teams to communicate status and ensure smooth shift transitions.
Mentor junior staff by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
