Job summary

Total Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for a food manufacturing facility in Bolingbrook, IL on 1st Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). This performance-to-hire role requires operating high-speed packaging equipment and maintaining product quality.

You will follow GMP and allergen controls, perform quality checks, set up machines, and assist with changeovers and sanitation. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous Machine Operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Food manufacturing and GMP experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up machines according to product specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor metal detectors, check weighers, and scales to ensure product quality.
• Perform quality checks, net weight verification, and label inspections.
• Replenish packaging materials such as film, labels, and other supplies.
• Complete production, quality assurance, and operational documentation accurately.
• Follow GMP, Safety, and Allergen Control procedures.
• Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation activities.
• Support Packers and move materials throughout the production area as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
