Job summary

Tnemec is seeking a Production Engineer – High-Speed Batchmaking to lead safe, efficient production of coatings in a high-speed facility. The role blends chemistry knowledge with engineering, using advanced manufacturing technology and data-driven methods to optimize batch processes.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Maintenance to improve throughput, reliability, and product quality while ensuring strict safety and environmental standards are met in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Materials Science) or equivalent.
Associate degree with manufacturing experience may be considered.
Experience in chemical manufacturing, coatings, paints, adhesives, polymers, resins, or related batch processes is preferred.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and process control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manufacture coatings and related chemical products according to formulas, batch tickets, SOPs, and production schedules.
Operate high-speed batching, mixing, dispersion, pumping, transfer, and material-handling equipment.
Charge raw materials according to formulas and sequencing requirements.
Monitor critical process parameters and ensure product quality and traceability.
Utilize automated systems to monitor batch production and maintain real-time documentation.
