Job summary

Andover Public Schools seeks an Assistant Wrestling Coach for ACHS for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will oversee tryouts, coach athletes, plan practices, and coordinate contests with the Athletic Director while maintaining equipment and safety procedures.

Qualifications include Kansas KSHSAA Rule 10 eligibility or active teaching license, plus First aid, CPR, and AED certifications and a valid driver's license. Strong communication and budget adherence are expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversees tryouts and selects participants per guidelines.
• Coaches athletes in skills for the sport.
• Plans and schedules practices and contests.
• Coordinates with Athletic Director in scheduling events.
• Maintains equipment, uniforms, and budget adherence.
• Ensures safety conditions and injury prevention.
