Job summary

Chief Leschi Schools is seeking a Part-Time Assistant High School Wrestling Coach to lead and support the wrestling program under the head coach. The role involves enforcing WIAA rules, organizing practices, maintaining rosters, and assisting with program administration within the Chiefs Leschi athletic department.

Ideal candidates will have coaching experience, knowledge of WIAA interscholastic policies, and the ability to work with a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• At least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• First Aid Certification (or enrolled in a course).
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in PE/coaching or 3+ years coaching major sport.
• Knowledge of WIAA policies and coaching standards.

Responsibilities

• Enforce directives of the head coach and staff.
• Plan and conduct practice sessions with the head coach.
• Maintain roster and document eligibility.
• Support athletic program and team strategies.
• Attend staff meetings and assist with equipment management.
