Chief Leschi Schools in Puyallup, WA, seeks an Assistant HS Girls Basketball Coach to support the head coach in leadership and organization of the girls’ team. Responsibilities include enforcing WIAA rules, planning practices, and maintaining player rosters.

The role requires a minimum 19 years old, a high school diploma or GED, and First Aid certification, with a preferred associate’s degree and coaching experience. Position is part-time with a stipend and eligibility for related benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a valid and current First Aid Certification.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in physical education, coaching or related field or equivalent.
• Two years of direct coaching experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implements and enforces all decisions and directives of the head coach.
• Assists the head coach with planning and conducting all practice sessions.
• Maintains a current squad roster and submits it to the head coach.
• Supports the head coach in the athletic program and team strategies.
• Assists with equipment inspection, issuance, return, and inventory; communicates needs to the head coach and Athletic Director.
