Job summary

Evergreen Public Schools in Vancouver, Washington, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant High School Wrestling Coach to support the head coach and participate in after-school practices and events. The successful candidate will assist with daily practice, transportation, safety, and maintaining equipment while fostering a respectful, inclusive team environment for diverse students.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid/CPR card required.
• Current Type II driver's license required.
• Previous high school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend all after school practices, games, tournaments, meetings, etc.
• Must be able to drive district van to transport participants.
• Cooperation by the assistant coaches with the head coach, athletic director, and the principal in performing duties.
• Maintain a positive relationship with students, staff, parents, and community by modeling respect and professionalism.
• Report all injuries, misconduct, or other unusual situations to the head coach, athletic director, or principal.
• Assist the head coach in checking in and inventorying all equipment at the end of the season.
• Attend rules clinics, workshops, and classes to maintain compliance with coaching standards.
• Conduct yourself in an ethical manner during practices and contests.
