• The coach must demonstrate strong leadership in player development, sportsmanship, integrity and character development.
• Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Exceptional knowledge of the skills and strategies of wrestling for interscholastic athletics in Missouri

Responsibilities

• Emphasize the importance of academic excellence and monitor high academic standards for wrestlers.
• Promote the program within the school and community.
• Work cooperatively with other coaches to operate a balanced athletic program.
• Ensure all athletes have valid medical examinations and required qualifications before practice.
• Engage with parents of wrestlers in a positive and constructive manner.
• Develop relationships with local youth wrestling programs and promote camps and clinics.
• Perform other duties as requested by the principal or athletic director.
• Complete trainings set forth by MSHSAA and South Callaway RII
