Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Wrestling Assistant Coach for the high school program during the Winter season (November–February). The role works with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured wrestling program and to support student-athletes in preparation and competition.

Responsibilities include attending staff meetings, recommending equipment, enforcing training rules, fostering sportsmanship, and performing duties assigned by the principal or athletic

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or college level or participation in sport.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid or enrollment in training.
• Virginia teaching license or full-time classified eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist head athletic coach to run a structured wrestling program.
• Attend staff meetings with athletic department.
• Carry out duties designated by the head coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies for the program.
• Suggest disciplinary actions for rule violations.
• Promote sportsmanship and school pride among athletes.
• Perform other duties as requested by principal and athletic director.
