Job summary

Prospect Ridge Academy in Colorado seeks a seasonal High School Assistant Track & Field Coach (Sprints/Jumps) to develop student-athletes and work with staff to advance the PRA mission. You will coordinate with the Head Coach and Athletic Director, organize pre-season meetings, and supervise practices and trips while maintaining equipment and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Strong reading/writing skills to interpret rules and policies.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of staff, students, parents.
• Excellent organizational abilities and task coordination.

• Judgment and collaborative teamwork in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies from PRA Board of Directors and district.
• Work with Head Coach and Athletic Director to develop program.
• Organize pre-season meetings with parents, coaches and players.
• Supervise practices, games and trips; ensure safety and discipline.
• Instruct athletes in skills and training for individual and team success.
• Maintain equipment issuance, collection and storage.
• Communicate with media, boosters and volunteers; update season highlights.
