Mt. Blue Regional School District is seeking an Assistant Track and Field Coach for Jumps & Sprints at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington, ME.

The role focuses on training student-athletes in sprint mechanics, relay execution, and jumping events under the supervision of the Head Coach. Ideal candidates have strong track knowledge, coaching experience, and a commitment to athlete safety and sportsmanship. Flexible after-school scheduling supports meets both home and away; stipend position

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of track and field.
• Knowledge of NFHS and MPA rules and safety procedures.
• Ability to model sportsmanship and be a positive role model for student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and coach jumps and sprints technique and race strategy.
• Ensure athlete safety and injury prevention.
• Enforce athletic policies and regulations approved by the Board of Education.
