Job summary

Qualifications

• Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school/college level.
• CPR and First Aid training completed or currently enrolled.
• Experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools preferred.
• Virginia Teaching License candidate or full-time classified employee preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
• Collaborate with the athletic department.
• Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
• Carry out duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the program.
• Recommend disciplinary actions for players violating rules.
• Foster sportsmanship, school pride, and community pride among athletes.
• Perform other duties related to the assistant athletic coach position as requested.
