The ideal candidate holds a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a High School TEE endorsement and will plan, deliver and assess standards-aligned lessons while maintaining records and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver district/state standards aligned curriculum.
• Administer formal and informal assessments; interpret data for instruction.
• Communicate with parents and students regarding progress.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate cross-curricular lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct students on District and state standards aligned curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans and goals that meet District expectations.
• Enrich or modify lessons to meet individual student needs and progress.
• Conduct assessments and interpret data to guide instruction.
• Maintain records of student work and provide regular feedback.
• Communicate with parents and students on progress.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan instruction across classrooms.
• Meet regularly with support staff to discuss student needs.
• Assign work to student teachers and volunteers and provide feedback.
• Participate in staff development and district initiatives.
