General Education High focuses on K12-powered virtual high schools with 9-12 programs offering core, comprehensive, credit recovery, honors, and Advanced Placement online courses and a wide variety of electives. Responsible for relationship building with families, students, and learning coaches to ensure that all students are progressing successfully through the program. Bachelor’s degree, 0-1 year of related professional experience.
Teaching Certification Required: Appropriate current Oklahoma Secondary Technology Teaching certification.
Residency Requirements: Must reside in Oklahoma. This position is remote and requires candidates who reside in Oklahoma.
The High School Technology teacher is a highly qualified, state-certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. High school Tech teachers provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. They monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system and work closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance learning goals. Teachers typically work from home but may travel occasionally for school functions.

This is a full-time position, typically 40+ hours per week, with the ability to work independently from a professional home office during standard hours (8 am – 5 pm). Occasional travel is required for professional development and student testing.
Salary is based on education, experience, qualifications, and work location, typically in the lower half of the salary range. Benefits are offered as per company policy.
